Dev: Lowkey is kind of a song about/dedicated to a really cool girl I used to like a few years back

I’m great thank you! 

We didn’t hear a while from you and you are now back with Your new single is called ‘Lowkey’ What’s the story of the song?

I know! I spent the last few years touring and getting back in the studio building a new album. “Lowkey” is kind of a song about/dedicated to a really cool girl I used to like a few years back. I created this song with my friends that produce and write, NANOSAUR and LIL AARON. I love Lowkey. 

Who were your big supporters in your carrier?

I’d have to say my family and my manager Alisa Applegate for sure.

What was your reaction when you heard your song for the first time on radio?

I was with my parents the first time I heard my song on the radio. I was in the car driving through Berkeley California and we rolled all the windows down and screamed and sang along! It was such a special moment. 

What can we expect this year from you?

Hopefully a new album finally! It’s been 4 years and I finally feel like I’m in a good space musically and as an artist and woman to put out a new project. I’m excited. 

What are the upcoming projects?

A NEW ALBUM! New music videos, Touring. everything.

What kind of music styles do you like after your own style?

I love a lot of different genre’s. My parents raised me listening to rock, alternative and even introduced me to a lot of rap music and eventually I grew to love pop music. I like to mix it up.

What was the most unforgetable moment of your life?

Having my daughter Emilia. Creating “Like a g6″ and “In the Dark”. Performing all over the world. There’s been some good ones.
