Hi Jessica, How are you? What are you doing right now?

I’m doing great! Thank you and thank you for having me.  I love Turkey and Turkish people. They have much passion and spirit. Also Turkish people are very Beautiful!! Great genetics!! Right now I am answering your questions then I have to go to rehearsals for a show I have later and practicing the last 2 songs I need to record to finish my album!

You released your new single ‘Let it be love’ What’s the story of the song?

‘’Let It Be Love” is about that feeling of loneliness that only love can remedy. It is about the frustrations of waiting for that right person to come along and sometimes it seems to take forever so you are left praying to God to bring that love into your life.

Let’s talk about your Childhood, How was Jessica as a kid?

Little Jessica was someone who loved to dance and loved to sing. That’s really all I ever wanted to do! I knew from the beginning that all I wanted to do was perform!! Like most people, I had a few life experiences that were tough on me and thus set forth a challenge for me to overcome. During childhood, certain events or incidents can impact the rest of our lives if we don’t heal from them…I have spent a long time taking on such demons head on and I feel so inspired and powerful having gone through the things that I have gone through.

When can we expect a new album?

This Fall! Can’t wait!

If you had to chance to do an collaboration with an big artist who would that be?

Elvis Presley! 😉

Where do you get the Inspiration from to write all this songs?

Well, I have been writing more and more recently and i’m lucky enough to have worked with and learned from some of the best…I draw inspiration from life. When I dig deep into my feelings something might come up and then I try to put it into my art.

You the girl from ’The Pussycat Dolls’’ and it was very successful girl band how was the times with Pussycat Dolls?

Like anything in life there were ups and downs. No regrets, just learning experiences which have brought me to a place I am in today.

Which artists do you listen at this time?

Right now I am listening to a lot of Lil Wayne, Sam Smith, DJ SKT, The Code, Philip George, Billie Holiday, Tove Lo and Sia!! Pretty diverse right!!

What’s the upcoming projects?

My debut album “Feline Resurrection” will be released this fall and there will be visuals for most songs on the album. I am so excited because I feel like this album is the closest artistic reflection of who I am and where I have been. Each song and video have a meaning or purpose or retelling of an experience.

Have you ever been in Turkey? Do you know some Turkish artists?

Yes! I went to Istanbul with the Dolls and we were there for MTV. It was so beautiful and the people were so lovely. Unfortunately, we were only there for 12 hours. I always said to myself I will go back someday…so hopefully soon! 🙂  Yes, I love Tarkan’s music! I’m also a fan of the gorgeous Hadise!

What do you think about The Music Of Now?

There is a lot of great music and incredible musicians out there. The problem is that there is even more rubbish and sometimes you have to go through the garbage to find the diamonds.
